Mr. Prum joined the humanitarian mine action sector in 2002. As Senior Director at CMAC, Mr. Prum is overseeing department of international cooperation and project management. CMAC is Cambodia's national humanitarian mine action agency whose assets and personnel are deployed across Cambodia and working to provide safety, return safe land to people and support the development of Cambodia in general by removing/clearing landmines and explosive remnants of war, a deadly contamination Cambodia has endured as a result of the more than three-decade long civil war.
CMAC implements approximately 20 projects under different funding schemes. The departments play an important role in ensuring a professional and efficient project cycle management, identifying and seeking new project funding opportunities as well as managing donors/partners relationship.
Mr. Prum holds a Bachelor Degree in English and Law. He was a recipient of Freemen Foundation Scholarship Award and earned his Master Degree of Law from William Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA.
