Chair of Session 9. Gender Mainstreaming in Mine Action
Rany Pen is Assistant Country Director and Head of Programme Unit of UNDP Cambodia. In her current capacity, Rany is responsible for the management and implementation of the Country Programme. Prior to this, Rany spent more than 10 years working with the Center for Social Development (Cambodia), Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI), and the International Criminal Court (the Netherland). Her areas of focus include development, gender equality, human rights, governance, justice sector reform, and criminal justice.
Rany holds a Ph.D of Gender and Cultural Studies from the University of Sydney (Australia), a Master Degree of Law from the University Jean Moulin (France), and Bachelor Degree of Law from the Royal University of Law and Economy (Cambodia) and the University Lumiere (France).
