Biography

I am currently the Director General of Department of Planning and International Cooperation , Lao Women's Union( LWU) which is a mass organization equivalent to a ministry. I am a member of National Committee for UXO Lao. Recently I used to work with UN Women to mainstream gender in to UXO especially in Xiengkhouang province.

I was assigned for representative of LWU to the secretariat of Voluntary National Report of SDG, including SDG 18 ( special for Lao PDR on UXO) . I am a representative of senior officer of ASCC in Lao PDR. I attended several ACW meetings including CSW 60 and 61 at New York.

I was formerly a Project Assistant of Gender Resource Information Development Center of LWU which is supported by UNDP. Before my ten-year stint at LWUUNDP project, I was a lecturer of physiology at University of Medial Sciences that I graduated Medical Doctor in 1995 and Master of Public Health in 2000.
